Hi A - Hope you are having a nice day !! Hope the pets are well and playing nicely. I am glad to hear your feet are better. Our weather has warmed up some and the winter's snow is almost gone from the grass. Bulb flowers are poking thru the ground and Spring is coming to the frozen North. Horray !!!

Hi Amber! Thanks for the add! :)
As for the Bayer meter, I REALLY like it! Nice & small with a great display. I love the fact that I can charge it up rather than worrying about dead batteries, and it's nice to be able to just hand the meter over to the Endo and have her plug it into her computer and see all the information she needs. No more printing out logs! Whoo Hoo!
Hope all is going well with you! :)

Hi Amber ( I see you changed your profile name ). Your pets sound great. We used to have dogs but since husband and I are retired, it seems cats fit our lifestyle better, but I still love dogs, too. Since I live in the frozen north, the cats lay in the sun as much as possible. We are taking a vacation trip to Aruba in 3 weeks, then we will see the sun again. The temp there everyday of the year is 84. Hope you have a GR8 rest of the week. Cat

Hi A- Thanks for the friend add. You will get a lot out of being here. Also, glad you joined "Pets and People." We all enjoy our pets. My kitties are 4and 5 yrs. A (m) Zorro and (f) Maggie. We really enjoy them. They were adopted from a no-kill shelter almost 2 years ago. Have a great day tomorrow !!!

hi, thanks for the friending. I saw you were interested in the women's conference. there is going to be an event in Orlando this summer that I know Manny and lots of others are going to

even though it says "children with diabetes" they are welcoming all - if you're not far from there, I know it would be a great chance to meet lots of our members. I would definitely go if I lived there.

Aferguson86, Thanx for the friendship. Ask away. I've been doing this for quite a long time. My daughter was dx'd on May 4, 2006 at the age of 23.

Like lotsofshots says we are all here to help each other with any aspect of D life. Glad you are here !!!
