Hi Judith. If you removed your blog because you found my comment to be offensive or flippant, I'm really sorry. I can empathize with your walking problems since I'm also dealing with similar problems -- my knee replacement went well, but the other knee is really bad (I'm too old to have it replaced), and I have poor balance. Again I'm sorry for being insensitive.
Apologies for the late condolences on Brody. I was away. Oh, Judith, know how it hurts missing your dear Brody. So very sorry for the heartbreak. Grief is certainly the hardest emotion & you've had more than your share.
Thank you for the new year's wishes. Wishing for you everything wondrous & joyful for 2013.
So sorry to hear about Brody Judith...Losing a dear friend/pal, pet...is never easy. I just lost my Snowy December 19th...and I still sob in tears every time I think about her. Maybe Brody and Snowy are together paying now :)
“Your beloved and your friends were once strangers. Somehow at a particular time, they came from the distance toward your life. Their arrival seemed so accidental and contingent. Now your life is unimaginable without them. Similarly, your identity and vision are composed of a certain constellation of ideas and feelings that surfaced from the depths of the distance within you. To lose these now would be to lose yourself.” ― John O'Donohue, Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom
Thank you for letting you constellation shine dear Judith! ♥ HAPPY NEW YEAR....to you and your family ♥
Hi Judith, thanks. We luckily went through Sandy without being affected. But many people around did lose their power. One friend had a new born and could not even heat up formulas for the baby. Another colleague's house was submerged by water and his whole family had to live in the shelter for weeks...
Your recent HA1c was 4.9 which is wonderful. How did you achieve that?
Kitties & keyboards are a dangerous combination. Wish there was a force field to safely keep them away from dancing on the keys. Benny deleted my entire email account--every folder gone. He's also made phone calls to a friend on Google Talk. So talented. I have to remember to close it down when I leave the room.
Awww....thank you dear Judith...how very keen...and kind ♥ The birthday is tomorrow! I try not to acknowledge it 'til actually necessary ;p Luv you dear friend, and your quiet peaceful ways.
Judith, I've been meaning to tell you how much I love your new profile picture! What a gorgeous couple, congrats on the anniversaries. Hope you are doing well, I'm so glad you're here with us.
Get this, Judith ... I spent three blessed hours on Part 2 of "Merry-Go-Round" and it disappeared because I didn't know how to get back from Preview. Where could it have gone?
Happy the pic brought smiles. Brock's the most gentle, peaceful, easygoing soul I've met. A blind pitbull/American Bulldog mix. He's my Buddha boy. Brock accompanies me on presentations to schools. Loves kids.
For another smile, check out the Bentley & Orbit photo. Bentley's a Bloodhound mix puppy I recently adopted. The family has a mini pig. Bentley & Orbit snuggle & play. Best buds.
I added Brock's photo to test the problem you're having & also changed my profile pic (changed it back). I had no difficulties using the settings page. Glad you contacted Bradford. He'll know what to do.

Hi Judith, I have not been on too much as by the time I read my email my fatigue kicks in and I am tired of reading and writing..hope your knee is a lot better now. My husband had the same thing and it does take a while to get over it. He is good as new now except for kneeling which is hard and his knee getting cold in the winter. Talk to you again..Mariyn
Judith, thank you so much for the warm welcome! Everyone has been so kind! Yup, that is me in the pic, we were on vacation last year! I'm excited about the get togethers also!! I know I have a lot to learn! This last month and a half I have learned more than I ever dreamed I would know about diabetes. It's so nice to have a group of people with the same issues to talk and learn from each other!
Sending you scented caressing Fall breezes and buckets of hugs my dear sweet friend. Topped with generous helpings of best wishes for a speedy recovery....miss you ♥ So VERY sorry to hear of your puss-cat. So hard to say goodbye....even when it IS for the best. Take care....and rest rest rest rest.

I noticed your recent blog post was gone. If my comment had anything to do with it, I am truly sorry. And now I am sad to see you have lost Brody.
