Greetings, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kathy.....
Best Wishes on your Special Day....and on the next 364 days!
How's it all going? Do you have any questions or comments?
I am happy that you are reading this and that you are a member of the growing TuDiabetes family.
Since the community was formed back in early 2007, lots of things have changed. Also since then, lots of new members have joined: we're now nearly 11,300 members. So, new members and new features means it never hurts to refresh how things work around the community.
If you haven't read it, I invite you to take a few minutes to go through our New Member Guide. If you have been a member for a while but have let a little dust accumulate on your TuDiabetes account, you will find it very useful.
If you don't find answers to a question you may have, never hesitate to ask. Click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page and one of the members of our Admin team (you can see their faces on the bottom right side of any page) will get back to you shortly.
well, i hope it's not, sometimes looking stuff up on the computer isn't good!! Anyways thanks for the info, I'm glad that you haven't run into this, it's probably nothing to worry about.
Hey Kathy, my daughter came up with a good bruise on her elbow yesterday and said she didn't hit it on anything, ever run across random bruises? Any ideas?
Thanks for inviting me to be your friend Kathy. You and your daughter are pumping and I am too. I hope we allhave good control. Really good control greatly increases our chances of having a long, healthy life without serious complications. Good luck to both of you!
hi Kathy, I'm new to this site and I saw your daughter is 10 and in the fifth grade, my daughter just turned 11 and is the fifth grade as well, she was diagnosed in Feb. 08, with type 1, we are working our way through, one question, did your daughters hair fall out after diagnoses or some of it, we are experiencing this now, have called our endo doc. and he says to wait for our apt. on april 8, this worries me, any experience with this?? Thanks
Thank you for your support. I learn something new it seems like everyday! I'm sure I will be asking alot of questions! My husband and I will be teaching our families how to test/give shots soon.

Saw the Charger Bolt when i logged in and I had to say hi to a fellow fan and San Diegan.
I'm originally from San Diego (by Gaslamp) and love the dynamic nature of the city.
I don't have a ton of time to write messages here, but do come visit me at www.diabetesmine.com.

Where is Venezuela is your friend from? I am from Merida, a beautiful small state by the mountains, my husband is from Caracas.
We have been is San Diego a couple of times, and it is one of my favorites cities in the world.
Very well we should keep in touch. You will have to teach me how to be so brave. :)
