Yep I reported the stolen PDM to the police. I also asked my renter's insurance about replacing it...but it's a $500 deductible and the new PDM would be $500, so that was a bust :-/ I will replace it, I'm just not sure how quickly since I've got my 1st gen working for me right now...
Just a bummer that I put too much faith in the decency and honesty of the public and I get burned for it w/ such a hefty fee...

I just joined tudiabetes today, so I'm trying to figure it all out. I came across your profile and thought you would probably be a good person to talk to on here. I've had diabetes almost 20 years and it has been quite the ride, but overall a blessing. Every day is different. Diabetes for me has been a bit of a struggle lately. So it would be great to talk to you and others who understand what its like to live with diabetes.

I think you should go for it! I'll have to check to see if there are Triabetes members near you (I know we have some in FL and GA), but athletes of any ability are definitely welcome to join! We will be having an online chat next Monday about preparing for your first tri with diabetes. You can sign up at triabetes.org. If you sign up, let me know so I can make sure you get on the Triabetes online network.
