Hey Phil, thanks for asking to be friends. im very glad you are a fan of the Irish,lol and you are Irish too bonus!!!! . i am so glad to have found this site as its nice to be able to mix views about diabetes. i will be starting my pump tomorrow on saline and on tuesday i will be going live with it , looking forward to the new start although a little nervous also. im sure i will have loads of questions for people over the next few weeks but i am unsure really how to get friends on here is it just a matter of asking people??

Dear Phil,I beat depression by writing poetry.There is a site for poetry on poetry club,cool breezes,I joined and started arabic poetry group,to post my poems in arabic.I write nonstop,never been on antidepressants.I am relegious like you,we pray physically five times a day.And friends,watching funny movies raise our spirit.We have a group here for depression,it is great,we support each other,....

I am suffering from depression for years,it is up and down,but still happiness is there in small things around us,in kind gesture,in cool breeze,in helping someone.
