Alice. Great job on the 5.3 A1C. How're you doing that? I'm impressed.

How come the date next to your very excellent A1C (listed in your profile) is in the future? I usually don't know my A1C until "after" the blood is drawn ;-)

Actually, things with the Dexcom have moved slowly thanks in part to a very slow response from my endo (considering switching docs) AND a decision on my part to switch pharmacies. I was with Liberty Medical and they messed up my order for the third time, so I finally moved. I started with a different (smaller) pharmacy: will le you know how it goes!

Thanks for asking, Alice!!! :)

I am happy that the highs are not as frequent as they used to be. I agree that perhaps the CGM will help with warning you against lows.

I am going to get myself a little Dexcom too very soon! :)

Alice:
I was reading your "Living with Diabetes Entry" and wondered whether the symptoms you mention have been the same even since you started pumping and/or CGMS?

Thanks for the nice comment. I saw your smiling face yesterday on here :-) That's great that you're getting CGM. I've had it for 3 months, but I'm still working on getting insurance to help.

Hi Alice!

I love your artwork! You joined up at a time when I got really busy, and I've been meaning to come here and say how much I liked your stuff for a while... sorry it wasn't sooner. But, seriously, GREAT stuff and I can't wait to see more! :) Thanks for participating in our Diabetic Artists group, and thanks for sharing your work :)

And I agree completely... fear no art.
