HEARTIEST CONGRATS Manny on your awards. Very well deserved. You are my hero too. With all my troubles I am trying to keep up with my work here. Nov 21 I will find out if the Hormone shot is doing the job on the prostate cancer. You look great in that photo. Take good care. HUGS,Reed
I just joined a few days ago. One of the reasons I joined is that my wife went through a minor crisis recently (blood glucose over 400!), when she installed a replacement infusion for her pump incorrectly.
I started thinking of technical ideas that could help in these situations (I am a chemist), and I started wondering how common these issues are. In particular, I am thinking of a relatively simple monitor that would NOT measure blood glucose, but only alert you that something is very wrong- and that you ought to check your blood sugar.
Is it OK to discuss this concept in your forums? It could eventually have some commercial importance, and I would not want to misuse your community.
Manny I tried to make a donation. They said credit card not accepted. I use AM EXp and nothing wrong with my card. I could not sleep and it was 3 in the morning maybe they thought I was drunk LOL. I will try again. Hope all is going well with you. I have a few ups abd downs but still going strong. HUGS,Reed
Thank you for this tool. It has been usefull untill January 2011 because I had a kidney and pancreas transplantation. No more insulin, no more kidney failure and believe me it's a real pleasure to share my experience with the community members. That will be in a movie. In the meantime, let's keep in touch through this site and my Facebook page. (https://www.facebook.com/competency25). I have created a crowdfunding page for the movie (http://vimeo.com/72461362). Just waiting for it's approval. Thanks
