I've been in the IT world for a while (even if I am sometimes a goof), so everything you say makes sense.
I'd probably do it if there weren't a long term solution from Ning in the works, although I'm guessing they haven't provided a timeframe. I might look into it as a short-term workaround.

Yes, it's Gaelic! Caoilte MacRonan was a member of The Fianna (an ancient tribe of warriors in Irish mythology), and one of two to survive into the time of St. Patrick. He (and his cousin Oisin) recounted their tales to him in The Colloquy of the Ancients (an excellent read!)
