Hello Amber! Thank you for having me as a friend!
I'm in the southwestern part of the province of Ontario...a city named Kitchener-Waterloo. I'm a wife of 34 years (hubby is also diabetic), mom to two grown children (one 29, the other 27), a grandma to 4 lovable little boys, a teacher, and before that an illustrator (still do some) and graphic designer. I speak French fluently, I read, history fascinates me, I paint, sing, walk, garden, ski, ride my bike....did I mention "read"? I love having friends over, I bake/cook, am an eclectic music lover, an animal lover...the ocean...ah the speaks to me! Oh...and I have diabetes (and a few other things).
Nice to have you as a friend Amber!!! Tell me a bit about yourself and keep in touch, ok?

Yea it still amazes my about my A1Cs. But I was also told when you get alot of lows your A1C readings will be perfect or near perfect. Sometimes I get lows and most of the time that damn Lantus causes it. I have to go on the pump which I will eventually so my readings can be better and stop having the lows. When I hit low 20's I freak out and a few times I could'nt function at all. One time all I did was drink a ton of Sunny Delight which is loaded with sugar and went from a 21 to a 300. Not good at all.
