Hello Kathy. I just read about the field trip again. How very awful. 2 children died. It will be bothering them for a long time.
I hope you do not have to increase your COUMADAN. Russ takes 2.5 mgs a day. Yesterday,he went to the surgeon. Nose all finished BUT shes does not like the looks of something on the other side. Go to the doctor who found the cancer. Russ said he will not go through that again,

I used to chaperone the Junior Prom and the Senior Prom. I noticed all of a sudden the boys began to carry canes. I soon discovered why...they were hollow and they filled them with booze. Many of the girls stopped wearing corsages but came in with long flower boxes I soon discovered in the boxes NIPS. I hated those 2 nights and could not wait until I heard everyone home.
Imiss Chico...he was a lot of company. So happy Lots got Zen back.
I was thinking of the Wars..I went in in 1944 can you believe that was 69 years ago?
Tomorrow we will go to Jacksonville to the pa rade and have lunch.
Tom wants Reed's meat loaf tonight.

Almost 90 here. No rain.

Take good care. HUGS, Reed

sorry to read about that awful situation with the school kids. It's just awful anymore. Everyday there seems to be such bad thinks happening. A tornado hitting a school of all places ..... Children on a fun school outing. It makes me sad. I hope Esther & all the others can get the proper help with grief counseling. Hope you are well too.

Hi Kathy, Zen is on the bed with me right now. I can't believe that I got her back. She just went a block away, still in the apartment complex and the people who found her were so sweet. When the saw her outside they left food out for her every day and finally got her into their apartment. They already had a cat and that one was not very happy that Zen was in his space. I am so happy I got her back. She is such a good cat.
I am much better from the operation. It feels pretty good to be able to breathe again. My incision is healed on the outside, but the inside is still tender. I never did one thing for the move but to stay in bed. I just got up a couple of days ago and was able to start unpacking, so the place is a mess with just a small path through every room so far.
I hadn't had a chance to get the TVs set up or the radio. I didn't even know about Oklahoma but I checked the Web and I feel so bad about the disaster. It seems now we have awful things happening in the US about every week. I feel so bad for everyone there.
I unpacked your beautiful little statue and have it right in my room so that I can wake up and see it every morning. Thank you so much for sending it. Today I slept all day. I still get tired pretty fast but I am feeling better. Friday I have another CAT scan of my whole body to see how things are coming along. I am wearing a heart monitor now until the end of the month to figure out about the fast heart beat thing. I have not been outside for eight weeks and when we went to get Zen back I was surprised at all the leaves on the trees. The last time I was out the trees were bare.
I am going to send Catlover something. I hope she gets better. That poor thing, what she has gone though makes me feel like I was taking a walk in the park. I could not imagine being in the hospital that long. I would probably be ready to jump out the window.
I just found your address on the envelope you sent. Now I have to find my cards, which could be anywhere to drop you a line as well. I took the whole day off today and did nothing. I can't believe how much stuff we still have to unpack. I am going to take about half of it to the thrift shop. I found three blow dryers and two flat irons and two wand blow dryers. I thought I only had one of each.
I finally have a huge closet, one whole wall, big enough to put all my clothes on hangers and divide them by season. The best part is the bathroom upstairs. The one in the apartment was so small that I felt claustrophobic in there. We are painting it light purple. Reed would like that.
Have you started with your new violin teacher yet? I hope that your headache goes away and you get some good sleep. Talk to you soon, Lots.

Hello Kathy. I am down in the dumps today for some reason. I cannot seem to get my act together. I did the laundry. THUNDER but the sun is out. I do the Program again at TOPS tomorrow. How are things with you? Aren't those storms terrible. It is heartbreaking to see all the destruction. How is the weather there? Did you go out? I hope things are going well and all your tests ok. I will snap out of it. A BIG HUG,
Reed

Good Morning, Kathy. PHEW Knock on wood. The A/C man heat too came and said everthing fine. I was sweating out getting a new unit. Gorgeous day here. Russ;s doctor wants him to wear a patch on his feet for pain. Fine but he has a heart condition. The heart doctor just called and said FINE use the patch. Today he sees the surgeon who reconstured is nose after the cancer surgery. We all agree it looks just great and normal so hope she leaves it alone. Gorgeous day here. I am feeling better than I deserve. Tom is giving a big presentation about his GRANT to the Board of Trustees and other nig shots. He is nervos but he will do well. How are things with you?Your windows all washed? I hope your good weather continues. Any plans for today? Take good care. HUGS,Reed

Good Morning, Kathy. Many thanks for the lovely birthday card. I do not feel 86. Latest scam now..my credit reports have taken a big hit better call. I answer he died no need for credit report. The director of the FBI has money for me. They must think we are nuts. I got 50 lottery scratch tickets...will be rich...I scratched and scratched. Winnings? $2. Lovely day here. Russ goes to see about his leg today. He does not think that compression machine helping. Tomorrow the nose. We all think it looks great. I hope she leaves it alone. How is the window washing going? Tom worked in the garden. We will be overwhelmed with zinnias. He came early as he is giving lectures. Take good. HUGS, Reed

Hello Kathy. Did I hear right? Minny was 90 degrees today? That was an awesome video. I have not done much...I have elevated my leg. They did a good job of cauterizing the vein. I thought it best to elevate it. Sunny and bright here but only 78 degrees. TOPS tomorrow. The Weight Recorder is doing the Program...she might tell them losing the same 1/2 pound is not the way to lose weight. Did you get any more windows done? Russ miracle trimmed bushes. Have a good night. HUGS,'Reed

Hello Kathy. What did I see on TV snow melting and coming down and hitting houses like a tusamani. MN had a rough winter. I had to go to the ER this morning for a little sewing job. A veir ruptured in my left leg and it was gushing like a fountain. Tom stopped it yesterday but it acted up again this morning. I have had this before. One time it bled so bad it filled a shoe. Today I am doing very little not moving around much. Tom will be back Wed he has a big Board Meeting they meet at Flagler College about his grant. Russ doing pretty well. Gorgeous sunny day here 80 degrees. My zinnias are growing like crazy. Cosmos beautiful. Hawthorne tree in full bloom. You still uncluttering? Take good care. HUGS,Reed

Kathy, cardinals and their 16 sounds, really? I know about 3 or 4 of their songs/calls. I've always admired people who could identify birds by the calls. we get a nice variety of birds here, I keep a Peterson's book by the back door along with some binoculars.

Hello Kathy. Time flies. Hard to type when Chico is on the keyboard. He goes North tomorrow and comes back late October. He visits for hours every day. We will miss him. Up at 6 shaved and showered. Tom decided this was haircut day. We got there. A parking space right in front but someone in every barber chair and 2 waiting. I go to Robin she gives a great haircut. Came home and Russ did his leg. Tom got ready for Government House. I did welcomes. Damage to the farmers in the millions. I love the Hastings potatos..I got a big bag before the storm..it is about 12 miles. This weekend grocery shopping and working in the yard. The zinnias are way up.I hope Zen comes back. It is terrible to lose a pet. So sad about Cat. I do not think she would ever be in the hospital that long. I got the post card. Have you found any money? I got my real tax refund yesterday. Going to cash it and hide it for a raint day. I wish you could see this cat. Take care. HUGS,Reed
