Good Morning,Kathy. You must have cabin fever if you have not been out for a month. I think it is wise to stay in and get yourself better. I am in tough shape. I have been up all night with these darn knees. I hate the thought of going to bed. The pain is so bad I could cry. Tom was out of the house at 5AM he is running a half marathon. He will be frozen as it is windy cold and a light drizzle. NIGHTS OF LIGHTS started last night. Streets were blocked off. It is a big tourist attraction. We will go in next weekend. It runs until Jan 31. We got the grille. Poor compact than the old one with a lot of bells and whistles. Take good care of yourself. Keep warm. HUGS,Reed
Hello Kathy. Yerrible day here. Dark and a cold rain. Tom went running but only did 4 miles as the weather was so awful. He still wanted his Lumberjack breakfast. Shopped. Ordered my fresy turkey. Tonight they light the lights for our Nights of Lights. We will go to Home Depot about 5 and get the grille. Ny then the lights will be on so we will drive into the city to see them. My knees still angry. How are you feeling? I hope much, much better. Keep warm. Rest drink fluids. Get better. HUGS, Reed
Hello Kathy. How are you feeling? Much better I hope. My knees are killing me and I finally took a PERCOCET, The Florida Legislature ( I bet they are all lawyers) put in new sections in the Power of Attorney law. That makes ours null and void. Our lawyer redid them $150 and this morning we had to go to the bank and get them notarized. I have been reading them. Do not know half of it. Chilly rain here. Tom came last night and brought cooked chicken breasts..prunes cappers wine. Pretty good. He is running a half marathon Sunday morning starting at 6:30. So we will go to 11AM Mass, Tomorrow I will have to put my order in for a small turkey. Do not feel like doing anymore today. I hope you are feeling much, much better. HUGS,Reed
Hi Ms Kathy. I hope you are feeling better and out of the blues. I will keep praying for you.
Yes thats an old Elvis song that was written by Andrew Lloyd Weber in his earlier days. I could not get the Elvis embed code so I had to use a Elvis impersonator oh well. Hes not too bad.
I went to the Lions meeting last night. Tomorrow I am going to hear a priest talk about mens virtues in a mens group.
Good Morning,Kathy. Glad to hear you are feeling someone better. Send Valerie tio me. She sounds like a good scout. You need someone like that. I just paid my real estate taxes, Get that over with. BG 106n ot bad. The stomach bug has gone. Lot of people seem to have it. I know for 2 days I was in a terrible mood. Right now, I am doing laundry. TOPS Secretary was out last week so I need to type up the minutes from my notes. It seems she is out more than she is in. The house across the street finally sold to a Mother and older daughter. The owners paid $342,000 and it sold for $215,000 what a blow. Tom has to teach an 8PM class tomorrow. I told him he has to learn how to say NO. This GRANT is getting people interested and they forget he has his own work to do. I hope this finds you feeling much, much better. Take care. I care. HUGS,Reed
HI Kathy - So sorry you are not feeling well. It's too early in the season to feel sick. I feel very draggy, don't really sleep well. Jim is still having problems with his leg. He developed cellulitis in it last week & is on AB for a week. I guess he was jealous of my bout with cellulitis. Take care of yourself and eat that chicken soup. Esther must have looked cute as a little nurse. Get better soon !!!! Cat
Good Morning,Kathy. How are you this morning? I hope you are feeling better. Happy to hear you have folks coming in to help you. I do not know what it is but I am in sych pain with my knees, legs and, now,my right hand. The solution is knee replacement but I will not do it. Suffer it out. When do you see a doctor again. I hope it is not pneumonia. Take the antibiotics until gone. Drink fluids. Rest. I hope I hear you are feeling much better. Take good care. Hugs,Reed
Tsk tsk tsk....a little bird told me you were unwell! How long is your course of antibiotics for? On the upside....a good test result! Keeping you in thought and in prayer my dear Kathy ♥
Hello Kathy. How are you feeling? I hope and pray it is not pneumonia. Did you get to see a doctor? You still taking antibiotics? Be sure to drink fluids. Keep warm. Rest. I am concerned about you. Wish I were there to wait on you and give you a big hug, Soup great too. Take good care my dear friend. HUGS,Reed
Kathy I hope you are much much better today. thanks for checking in with me. we finally got the power back Wednesday and it took all day to warm up to 62 in the house. what we're doing with my mom now is they are adapting her apartment so she can go back there. we are going to put a hospital bed in the tv room, and move some things around so she doesnt have to use all four rooms she has now, but basically 2 and a half. It might work. also going to 3 meals a day downstairs so she doesn't fool with making coffee or toast or anything. her friends down the hall can help her, as they like to all have dinner together and watch tv in the evenings. next time we go down there in december, I can see for myself how that works out. unfortunately if it is NOT, the nice suite in assisted living may be taken by someone else, but she is fully capable of making her own mind up.
Read on Reed's page your good news and bad news. I am so sorry that you are sick, having pneumonia is really painful, I hope your antibiotics work fast. It is so awful not catching it for three days, just gives the nasty condition a chance to get worse when it is ignored like that. I am so happy that your kidney tests came out great. Snuggle down, lots of liquids and chicken soup, so sorry you are feeling poorly. Wish I was there to fluff your pillow! Lots
Oh Kathy so sorry about that ...I hope it is not that serious but have the antibiotics keep warm rest drink fluids. I think this up and down weather is not helping. I am in some kind of a mood today. I think it might be I am bored or something. It is too far to go in town with my walker..should I be in the road or on the sidewalk? LOL. Tom arrives tonight about 10. He is at a conferebce in Georgia. Please take good care of yourself and keep warm. BIG HUGS,Reed
