KATHY....dear Kathy!!! So GREAT to hear from you. Good God...BG over 500....what the heck are they doing!! Hide it under the mattress, yes...or in the toilet tank lol. Sheesh! Do they know what caused all this?? Praying for your speedy recovery. Nothing like hanging out by the water cooler as Bikette calls it (Reed's page)...I think of it as the homestead!!
We love you, and can hardly wait for you to get back on your feet and be a trouble maker again (not!!)....just hurry up and get well dang it!
Luv and baskets of hugs....linda ♥
Kathy, thinking of you, yes take your insulin! brother, someone needs to let them know you know your diabetes way better than they do. but you must be so tired and weak. we are all praying for your complete recovery, no need to respond to me, I'll keep up with you in Reedsville.
I was so happy to hear from you on Reed's page! Yes, yes, take your own insulin! I had highs all the time I was in the hospital. The last time I got wise and took my fast acting insulin pen. I was not allowed out of bed because they were afraid I would fall, balance issues too. I took off my IV and snuck into the bathroom every four hours to take my glucose readings and make corrections with my Novolog. Without that I was in the 500s too, With my Novolog pen for boluses and corrections, perfection. I am so excited to hear from you again, but hope that you stay as long as necessary to get feeling better. We love you dearly and don't feel alone on Christmas because all our hearts are with you. Have a wonderful Christmas. Lots.
Hi Kathy! My goodness, what happened? Seventeen days in the hospital, that is serious. They don't even keep heart attacks in the hospital that long! What was wrong, did they ever say? I bet you have lost weight and are weak. I sure hope that they are taking great care of you and that you feel better really soon. What's up for Christmas? Maybe we can Skye when you feel better and exchange details about our ailments! When I was in the hospital they had an Interent room. Feel Better. Lots
Hi Kathy. I read that you're in rehab; I hope you are getting better rapidly. I know it's a tough time to be "under the weather". I'm hoping for a good Christmas and a very, very Happy New Year for you!
Dear Kathy. It was so great to hear from you You had us all worried. Many Prayers went up for you. Cards were sent. I hope the hospital forwards them to you. Rehab will be good for you it will get you stronger and be better than being home alone. All of Reedsville is praying for you. A BIG HUG. Reed
OMGoodness!! My dear Kathy....so sorry to learn that you are so ill. I hope and pray that you will recover promptly and completely. Baskets of hugs,

Kathy....MIA!! How ARE you....have not seen you for such a LONG while....please tell me that you're OK!! MISSING YOU! ♥ baskets of hugs and much love....linda
My dear Kathy. We are all worried about you. Please get a message to Reedsville and everyone will read it. I hope it is a sick computer and not a sick Kathy. The snow must be pretty but not good for walking. Please check in. HUGS,Reed
Hi Kathy, I looked on Reed's page and didn't see any messages from you, so now I am all worried that you have gotten sicker. I hope you are not feeling worse than before. How is the pink eye? Feeling sick is bad enough, when it keeps you down a long time it is so miserable. We try so hard and work to stay healthy and then get a flu or something else and then all the work goes down the drain. I think life is trying to tell us that nothing is permanent, though we as humans have the idea that things should be getting better and better. I figure that life goes along kind of like a bell curve, and I am definitely on the declining side of it now! I hope that you are able to get back on Tu and let us know how you are faring. I hope that you are not having to go to a lot of doctor's appointments. That in itself is enough to bum anyone out and ruin their day! I have given up faith in modern medicine. Take good care of yourself. I hope to hear from you, I will look out for you over on Reed's page. Lots
Good Morning, Kathy. I am worried. I have not heard from you in 3or 4 days. I hope you did not have a relapse. The CDC says lot of nasty stiff going around. I have been up since 1 with Russ. His face is a mess. The bandages all caked with blood and where they cut and stiched bright red. He sees the surgeon today at 2. Tom's cat sick. He might have to go on dialysis a cat you ever hear of that? I just got a call my stove is on the way. Be here in 30 minutes. It will be good to have an oven again. PTL my knees are good. I said lets not do Christmas that went over like a ton of lead. Tomorrow a Holy Day of Obligation so we will go t 9AM and again on Sunday. I hope and pray you are ok. HUGS,Reed
