Doris, it seems you don't suffer fools gladly or easily. I SO get that. It's been a while but it's kind of nice to be back. I did have lunch with Manny and Emily today. Very kind and extremely pleasant folk to break bread with. It was a blast for me.
Hey, Doris! Thanks so much. I don't know why I was featured. It's not like I've done anything noteworthy. I'm flattered but I'm not sure I deserve any particular recognition. How've you been, Girlfriend?
Hey Doris!!!, wow I have been away for a long time. My page changed, my brooklyn bridge and irish castle pics are gone, they kicked me out of the "welcome committee" holy cow! HA, you think they got mad at me? awww so sorry to hear about your shoulder, is that what the physical therapy is about? What's hubby in for? HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. yes Lisa is doing okay, but in Jersey it's spring bloom time and we are all kinda sick with allergies. Poor Jimmy has it the worst, with allergies and asthma. I feel so bad for him when his nose is running and he can't breathe. gd allergies... here's a picture I took of him for his Mother's day card to Lisa:

Thanks Doris for the welcome. You are so lucky to have such a wonderful family. I was 12 when diagnosed and back in the early 80's I was told it was very risky for me to have a child. Sure wish now I hadn't listened to them. Regret that immensely. Enjoy your grandchildren. They are so precious.
Fear Doris, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. You celebrating at home or at your gmothers? I hope yoy have a great day. Pleased, too, you are feeling better. It is getting dark here. I hope it means rain. I was going out to eat for my birthday but Russ wants to wait until he gets off the walker. So we will go next Saturday. Even with all the STRESS my BG readings have been good. Has Brit had her baby yet? I\If so,boy or girl. How is the new car running? When does Ken go to see about his blockage. Tom is staying until Wed. Happy Mother's Day Doris! Yep, Ive read your blog this morning (my morning...its night time here) Pretty cool you have a new computer! If you need to ask anything about it...Id be happy to help :) That's pretty sweet of your hubby.
We celebrated Mom's day today having lunch with my Mom ...Chinese food...yum! I actually enjoyed it with a bit of caution LOL I have been feeling a bit depressed for the past few days since I had my A1C results...and it was pretty horrible for me. My A1C jumped up from 6.1 3 months ago to 7.2! I felt so bad...its like I got defeated again...sigh. Oh well... back to the drawing board of adjustments. I feel better today since I know I can do better next time...right ha! LOL
Doris- I had a good laugh at your expense. I got a glucagon kit when I was first DX. When it expired, I never got another one. Never needed it. I have been as low as 20 several times, and still talking. BTW, Happy Mother's Day. Cat
doris, that is some wild ride you had there. funny, I've never had a glucagon kit. guess I;m lucky. I think they're coming out with premixed micro-dosing glucagan. I may ask my endo about it, I'm going in a couple of weeks.
Hello Doris. I forgot about the chat. Things crazt here every day a new pain. Russ can walk a little without the walker. It is just going to take time. He has lost 8 pounds sibc Thursday. I thought PREDISONE put on weight. How are you and Ken after the pt> Sore. No rain hot. I hope you both continue to improve. My BG98. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!! GUGS, Reed
