hey Doris, the man who will be at our video chat on Friday is a really famous author of the book "Think like a Pancreas". I don't know what you do on Facebook, but if you can, spread the word there that he will be on. oh that reminds me i was going to see if Ustream had any troubleshooting pages for Windows XP users like yourself.

Thanks so much for the warm welcoming Doris! Tudiabets looks like a great and friendly place to start blogging and getting more information and support with diabetes. I look forward to it!

Hello Doris. What a crazy two days. Russ is so afraid I will fall bringing plates and stuff from the kitchen to the breakfast nook. They went out and bought a tea cart. Wheels would not go over rug. Went out and got a new set. It worked. To me it is a nuisance. The local newspaper headline.....BERYL SMASHES ST. AUGUSTINE. Did it ever rain and the wind blew....a tropical storm. No damage. It is still raining.Russ is the purple man. He sees the doctor tomorrow. He cannot walk without the walker. How are you both doing? I hope well. Did you get any of this rain? I was thinking Memorial Day 68 years ago I was in the Navy. All Memorial Day things here were cancelled. I see Spring is trying to get back. I sent her an email as it is her birthday. Have a good rest of the day and my best to Ken. HUGS,Reed

I can't seem to see it-all I see is members online...the flea deal is bad..I have tried to treat wirh dips and flea powders for the pets.Advantage is the best but it cost 45.00 the vet said last week.I think I will have to buy it for the smallest inside dog..the rest will have to be dipped again...the house -I think I can buy some spray and try once again to kill them.I know you spray once then come back in I think 10 days and spray again to get the eggs that might hatch...wish me luck..I went online and it said treat the yard too :( this could get expensive..dang fleas !!! off I go to see what I can find at the store ..

Omg...what a story!  u r such a trooper. I cnt believe tht all happened.  how do u recognize lows now? just testing more?? unbelievable story. have u ever heard of someone getting the surgery and it worked?  I have hitchimotos thyroiditis as well. so antibodies r destroying my thyroid too.  I wish they cld discover why our antibodies do the opposite. :(

Good Morning,Doris. How are thing going with you and Ken. The doctor must have realized this was a long weekend. He asked Russ if he could come in at 10 instead of 2. He and Tom gone. I like Tom to go as he speaks us. Russ tends to forget things ON PURPOSE. They have got to get that COUMADAN under control. His whole leg turning people. Me I am ok but tired. Bought a device that gets Russ out of bed. He just could not do it. This works. Sunday we might go to Jacksonville to have dinner at the River City Brewing Company right on the St. John's River. My BG 106. I hope your readings are good. How many more pt's does Ken have? Have a wonderful day. HUGS,Reed

Hi Doris, how are you doing? Did you start back the physical therapy? I have been thinking about you since you posted your feelings about dad and hope that helped to talk about it here with all your Tu friends, we love you lots. What have you been up to besides working with getting yourself back together with the shoulder operation? I am starting PT next week. I am excited. A lot of me getting better has to do with exercising and I am just thinking (ha, ha, no I am actually going to do it!) getting on my IPOD and going for a long walk. It is muggy here today, so I am going to sweat! Hopefully it will not rain on me, but if it does I may be happy because it will cool me off.
I ended up getting my hair cut really short because it is easier to take care of in the summer, I have wavy hair, that waves in all the wrong places unfortunately, my hair was long and so hot, feels great freedom to have a bare neck and hair not hanging in my face and all over the place. Hope you are doing well and not too hot. I know how you love the hot weather, NOT! Have a great day from me to you! Lots.

Lol!  awww  I have chinchillas ;)  I'm a huge animal lover.  I was on the minimed pump. I just didn't do great on it. I gave it two yrs. Now tht I'm back on injections I have gotten better control. But sometimes I feel like my body rejects insulin sometimes. Sounds crazy but I've had a few times where I wld correct n id stay the same number! Its fustrating. N makes no sense....
