hopefully this afternoon i will have time to check out the group for parents...i have felt alone in my son's diabetes for over 9 yrs!! thanks for the info..enjoy the day!
Here is a photo of some of the teachers at school holding a 70 pound constrictor. What a beautiful animal he is (my humble opinion), skin soft, dry and muscular...very easy going temperament! (I'm on the right in white!) Hope you're having a great morning....I sure am! A tad cooler here, and relaxing after a VERY long day yesterday....back at school next (and final) week, for cleaning up and that blasted 2 day first aide course!!
luv....linda
it is doing it again-the chat box was working perfect-then i closed it to type notes here-then reopened it.Now it messed up again-I was trying to read -and wanted to see what Emily said about them trying to give her insulin when it could have been dangerous if given then..going to firefox again..I have to put some clothes in the washer then will be back :)
Doris,I really enjoyed that chat yesterday and the Doctor was wonderful.Wish we could all go to him...I had a time -and I mean a time getting to watch it-ended up listening to it and reading chat.Marie helped me as I was getting all keyed up over my chat box that would jump to the top and stay there. It was the strangest deal..oh well -alls well that ends well, they say, hahaha :)
hey Doris, are you going to be signed on for the chat? I'm going to try. my sister's coming up to spend the weekend with me, but she won't mind if I am on. I guess I'll get dinner sorted out early, at least what I can. I'm doing something with some trout I just bought. my bgs have been a bugger today. I decided I'm not even going to open the door to the basement today.
Doris,I am going to do my best to be signed in for that chat today.I really want to hear this endo and read what others say.I may even sigh in later and just wait so I don't miss yer another one,ha !! Hope your day is going good-still reading and laughing at the funny things your post on fb :)
Good Morning,Doris. How are things with you? Things are better here. Just one more hump. Russ goes this morning and he hopes the doctor will unwrap his leg and get him out of the boot. Tom left this morning for CA...a big conference..about 25,000 people. He will be back Thursday. It will be quiet without him around. I am doing ok. My knees hurt but I can live with it. BG110. How is Ken doing? I hope well. Doing anything exciting this weekend? Take good care and have a good day. HUGS,Reed
Hello, dear Doris Ann. Things seem to be calming down a bit in Reedsville - Cat and Sparks are better and Russ does not need surgery. Yippy. Here is a flower for you from my neighborhood:
thank you so much for welcoming me i am excited to become involved in your group so let me know if there is anything going on in the columbus ohio area!!
I DID IT - it was gross and I'll spare you the details. ain't no way I'm touching those traps, they can just wait to get re-baited. besides there's another 6 or 8 traps still down there. GROSS! even tho they were tiny field mice, brown and white. I need a REWARD.
Doris! help! I went down to the basement this morning and I'm sure there are TWO dead mice in the traps. they are small ones. so I just can't bring myself to go get them and throw them outside, where some animal always comes by and takes them away. I was even going to call my neighbor, but that's not right. I have to do this. I will put on some heavy gloves and then I'll take a shovel and take them out, but I have to undo them from the traps. ARGGGGG!!!!
Good Morning,Doris. All I can say is what is nect. I did not sleep well..up at 4. Russ goes this morning for COUMADAN check. Then to the surgeon DR> Hsu (Sue) to make appointment for the surgery. He wants Tom there but Tom leaves tomorrow for CA so I guess surgery will ahve to be first week of July. Russ still in the boot but we three plan to get a haircut. BG 98. How are you doing? Any pain of any sort? Things you cannot do yet? How is Ken? I hope he is doing ok. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hi doris, thanks for your support, he is a great boy with such a great heart, and thankfully super responsible! I know he will be fine just some days are harder than others! he is almost 14 but still has lots of redeeming qualities! amy
