hey Doris, just wishing you a Merry Christmas! I see you posted a picture of all the grandkids, did you have them all over for Christmas Eve? Ed and I are making our own little holiday dinner here for 2, he's still not feeling well, and I didn't feel like doing anything anyway. we did get some snow last night, just enough to make things pretty. love ya!
Good Morning,Doris. Feeling better as it must have been a 24 hour thing. You going to your Grandmothers for Christmas or are they all coming to you. It will be just the three of us. I have decided on a roast loin of pork. This is funny. Tom shaved the flap on Russ's nose as it was hairy. I guess they are going to use that FINALLY in the reconstruction Jan 2. How is Ken doing? Give him my best. A most Blessed and joyous holiday to you both. HUGS,Reed
Afternoon Doris....got your lovely card! Thanks so much....mailing mine today, so yes...it will be late. I apologize, and hang my head in shame. Really...I have NEVER been this late in sending my cards....but you know how CRAZY it's been!! Everything seems to be in slow motion this year...the tree is up...but need to be COMPLETELY decorated! I'm waiting for Len to install the new element in the oven before doing my baking!
We have no snow! Was hoping for at least a dusting for Christmas....2 days left, who knows...might have a record snow fall!
Gotta go...
luv and baskets of hugs,
linda ♥
Good Morning,Doris. We had a heavy rain last night and then a cold front rolled in. BRRR it is 40 degrees. Tom is here until New Years. Russ hates the way his nose it thinks everyone gawking at him but I got him into the department store. I think I hope they finish the reconstruction on Jan 2. I have the foot doctor at 1. My BG 108. Hope your readings are good. Give my very best to Ken. It was so good to hear from Kathy. Have a good day. HUGS,Reed
Timothy is home earlier than anticipated, so that means his place of work will not pay him for the time off while in the hosp. and recuperating. Apparently they cover the time frame if you're in the hospital for a minimum of 2 days!! So, he's on pain meds...and feeling very edgy due to not smoking. I'm urging him to talk to the doc re the patch or something to take him over the hump. As for myself...I'm done with school now, for Christmas Break. Will be back in the thick of it on January 7th. BUT...that is THEN!! For now...I am HOME SWEET HOME! First on the list tomorrow after sleeping in till 9, and then (after coffee of course)....the Christmas cards!! Then...getting a new element for my oven. No element = no turkey!! Gifts....gotta buy 4 more...and wrap them.
Must finish decorating the tree. The kids are coming here on Christmas eve....everyone bringing something.
Hugs...linda
Hello Doris. We both had a good night PTL. So sorry about Kathy..now she might go to rehab. I would like to know what went wrong. I finally got Russ into a store. The flap on his nose is fat and has hair on it. He thought everyone would gawk at him. He gets the job completed Jan 2. Is this what women go through when they have a nose job? BG 108. How are you doing? I hope your Readings are good. How about Ken>? I hope he is hanging in there. You ready for Christmas? Russ has to wrap gifts. No one would want a gift I would wrap. Take good careBOTH of you. HUGS,Reed
Morning Doris!! Timothy our son (26)is recuperating. He has undergone the surgical procedure on Wednesday, to repair the puncture in his lung made by the tubing used to re-inflate it following the pneumothorax of October 10th. He should be in the hospital for another day or 2. Pray that he resists the urge of smoking (and that his wife Steph. who is due in June, also considers cessation!). Smoking is indeed of little help in this matter, but not the cause. The cause revolves around asthma mostly, and being genetically predisposed to it. hugs....linda ♥
Good Morning,Doris. Chilly here this morning 45 degrees. I finally had a good night. They removed all the bandages from Russ. The flap of skin is fat and hairy. I hope they get rid of that. The final reconstruction takes place Jan 2. So sorry about Kathy. We wrote every day so I knew something was wrong. Glad you got my card. My BG 106. TOPS today last meeting of the year. All the gkids excited about Christmas? And my friend Ken how is he doing? I hope you are doing well. Have you had any snow? Take good care of yourself. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hey there Doris! Just stopping by to say howdy!! How's it all going in your corner? Soon, on the 21st, I'll be on Christmas Vacation!!! Can hardly wait!! There's a long agonizing school concert tonight (our school)!
If you pop in on Reed's page....there's a comment(long) that pretty well explains what I'm up to :)
Hope you are well....much luv,
linda
Hello again, I'm just getting to know how the site works, have joined a few Groups and themed my Home Page and when I went back to "My Page" there you were again acknowledging my reply to you - nice ! It's pouring with rain here in the UK but thank the Lord I am not in one of the areas that are so frighteningly flooded. I am going to take a break from exploring the Tudiabetes site now and make a cuppa - want one ?
Hello, back on Sept 18th you and some other Tudiabetes left me a really warm and friendly welcoming message that I haven't seen until today now in November as I haven't been back to the site until this afternoon as I've had a period of enduring illness. Thank you - what a lovely gesture. I will bookmark the site now and earmark it to visit each day
