Hello Doris. I think I am getting Russ's cold. I feel miserable. He had his nose finished yesterday. Tom saw it and says it looks great. I cannot as he is all bandaged,. He takes the bandage off for good tonight. Has to clean with peroxide and add a salve BUT if he goes out he has to cover it. This started 12'/3 ended 1/3. He goes back Wed to get stitches out. My BG 104. I pray I do not get that awful cough. Dark dreary drizzle here. Hope you and Ken both doing well. Still have to take down the tree. Take good care and give Keb my best. You babysitting? Hugs,Reed
Here we go again,Doris. Another year. HAPPY NEW YEAR. May the year 2013 be a good and healthy one for us all. I have been up since 5. Russ has a wicked cold but the coughing is non stop. I hope they do not cancel the final surgery on his nose tomorrow. BG 106. TOPS today. I bet there will be a lot of gains. How are you doing? Your Readings pretty good? And my friend Ken is he doing ok? Give him my best. Did you get any snow? Take good care of yourself. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hello Doris. Did you survive Christmas. It must have been great to have everyone together. Tom still here. Russ was tio have nose finished Jan 2 then they left message move to Jan 3. He called they do not know anything. Will call you back. It is important as Tom as to take off from work to drive him. BG 108. I hope your readings good. Did you get any snow? It was 33 here. I covered my plants. How is Ken doing? I hope well. Only 3 more days and this year will be over. I hope 2013 will be a good year for all of us. Kathy came home yesterday. Very tired. Take good care. I care. HUGS,Reed
Hi Doris, I haven't talked to you for so long. I bet you are super busy with all the grand-kids. You sure have your hands full I am sure. Did you have a nice Christmas? I was wondering if you got any snow from that big storm going across the country. We got a little snow for Christmas and some the day after, just not enough to cancel work for the day, but we did go home early. Today the wind was blowing like crazy and it was so cold but when I look at the temperature it is 37. It sure seems a lot colder than that. Are you ready for 2013? Ha, 13 is my lucky number so I believe it will be a good one. I think the big guy up there owes you a good year. Lots.
pictures are so nice Doris, they are all so pretty..I read somewhere where you said time seems to be flying by fast..and it does seem like that-the yrs moving by and you look around and think -goodness ! :) I am going to do some of that plastic window stuff.Where you try to keep out the cold a bit more.Sure hope it works-my mop is outside and froze-I can't get it loose.Oh,well,I can't possibly mop today :)
I had a great Christmas day Doris! Preparation was a bit...err...busy. I still cry ones in awhile for Snowy...I miss her so so much. Specially this Christmas. She loves roasted chestnut you know...I still got her a gift. Dang...Im crying again... Im looking through your pics right now...your grand kids are so adorable with a capital A! Beneath all possible problems we may have...you are truly blessed Doris with beautiful angels!
hey Doris, just wishing you a Merry Christmas! I see you posted a picture of all the grandkids, did you have them all over for Christmas Eve? Ed and I are making our own little holiday dinner here for 2, he's still not feeling well, and I didn't feel like doing anything anyway. we did get some snow last night, just enough to make things pretty. love ya!
Good Morning,Doris. Feeling better as it must have been a 24 hour thing. You going to your Grandmothers for Christmas or are they all coming to you. It will be just the three of us. I have decided on a roast loin of pork. This is funny. Tom shaved the flap on Russ's nose as it was hairy. I guess they are going to use that FINALLY in the reconstruction Jan 2. How is Ken doing? Give him my best. A most Blessed and joyous holiday to you both. HUGS,Reed
Afternoon Doris....got your lovely card! Thanks so much....mailing mine today, so yes...it will be late. I apologize, and hang my head in shame. Really...I have NEVER been this late in sending my cards....but you know how CRAZY it's been!! Everything seems to be in slow motion this year...the tree is up...but need to be COMPLETELY decorated! I'm waiting for Len to install the new element in the oven before doing my baking!
We have no snow! Was hoping for at least a dusting for Christmas....2 days left, who knows...might have a record snow fall!
Gotta go...
luv and baskets of hugs,
linda ♥
Good Morning,Doris. We had a heavy rain last night and then a cold front rolled in. BRRR it is 40 degrees. Tom is here until New Years. Russ hates the way his nose it thinks everyone gawking at him but I got him into the department store. I think I hope they finish the reconstruction on Jan 2. I have the foot doctor at 1. My BG 108. Hope your readings are good. Give my very best to Ken. It was so good to hear from Kathy. Have a good day. HUGS,Reed
Timothy is home earlier than anticipated, so that means his place of work will not pay him for the time off while in the hosp. and recuperating. Apparently they cover the time frame if you're in the hospital for a minimum of 2 days!! So, he's on pain meds...and feeling very edgy due to not smoking. I'm urging him to talk to the doc re the patch or something to take him over the hump. As for myself...I'm done with school now, for Christmas Break. Will be back in the thick of it on January 7th. BUT...that is THEN!! For now...I am HOME SWEET HOME! First on the list tomorrow after sleeping in till 9, and then (after coffee of course)....the Christmas cards!! Then...getting a new element for my oven. No element = no turkey!! Gifts....gotta buy 4 more...and wrap them.
Must finish decorating the tree. The kids are coming here on Christmas eve....everyone bringing something.
Hugs...linda
Hello Doris. We both had a good night PTL. So sorry about Kathy..now she might go to rehab. I would like to know what went wrong. I finally got Russ into a store. The flap on his nose is fat and has hair on it. He thought everyone would gawk at him. He gets the job completed Jan 2. Is this what women go through when they have a nose job? BG 108. How are you doing? I hope your Readings are good. How about Ken>? I hope he is hanging in there. You ready for Christmas? Russ has to wrap gifts. No one would want a gift I would wrap. Take good careBOTH of you. HUGS,Reed
