Its 8 am here...just got up and this is s wonderful surprise!
You are much stronger that you think my dear... the "eye" thing is correctable. You will be just fine =) Although I completely understand the "freaking out" thingy! LOL I pm ed you back...
Dont worry...the eye patch is temporary. Usually it is suggested to people with diplopia - result of the misalignment of the two eyes relative to each other. It can be corrected by an eye patch, corrective lenses or therapy. Now you will know how pirates feel...=) sorry...didnt mean to make a jooke of it. You will be just fine!
thanks for the warm welcome Doris. im using a pic of my left eye after they put dilating drops in to take a photo of the back of them. i thought it looked cool.
ok, dye your hair already! I stopped doing mine when I moved out of California.
no, I've never been suggested an eye patch. I've been wearing glasses since I was about 10. one of my eyes is so nearsighted they can only correct it so far. without glasses I can only see the big E on the eye chart and with glasses, I don't make it to where they have 4 letters. If my other eye were that bad, they'd take away my driver's license. maybe you might want to call the eye doctor, and talk to him, or at least ask them if they can put you on the cancellation list, so you could get in there a little earlier.
Ed's a1c was 6.3 so he beat me, but he's got some other new issues that are somewhat worrisome to me. also my bp is up and he's changing my meds for that. my mother has been a never-ending source of tremendous stress and guilt on me.
hi Doris, you take it easy today girl. I'm off to the doctors in about 15 minutes with eddie. we'll see who's got the best a1c. I already know mine is 6.8
I'll catch up this afternoon. a lot going on here.
Hi Doris- How are you doing ? I've been spending time outside while the weather is nice. It is supposed to start raining again tonite and continue most of the week. Your new pics are very cute. How old is your g-son now ? My g-son is still in Nashville, but will be back in CA by Tuesday nite. We will see him in Nov. when we go there. Hope yo have a good week. Cat
Hey Doris, I am doing nothing today. It has been a pretty nice weekend. The weather is great. It has been sunny and 68-70 all weekend long and I should be walking but I have had two lows today so I am waiting to get "normal" again. Leaves here are just starting to turn. How are yours. Hope you are doing well. What have you been up to lately? I am thinking about buying a puppy. Then I will HAVE to go on walks. I won't have a choice. Hope things have settled down and you are enjoying the g-kids. It will be Halloween soon. That should be fun.Do you take the kids door to door for treats? glitter-graphics.com
