Hello Doris. It has been one hell of a ride at age 86 to be told you have prostate cancer,. I was preparing my funeral. Then did it go into bones? Cat scan bone scan 24 x-rays even my mouth. NO. NO radiation needed. They are treating me with a hormone shot 1 every 3 months. Then they found 5 skin cancers, I had the last one removed yesterday. It was on my belly. Is it ever sore. Russ has had his ups and downs, These sure are not the Golden years. How have things been there? It has been one hot summer here PLUS humid. Take good care. HUGS,Reed

Grandkids!!! Always something. I was spending most my time on genealogy. Now that I have gotten most of my genealogy program straightened out, I am back to painting. Been watching a lot of YouTube videos on painting, learning by osmosis. LOL

Greetings, sorry I'm being very formal this morning, how're doing? Things seem to be rocking along in my world. Nothing drastic to report.

Morning Doris D....I was able to find a provider for insulin under Medicare Part B thanks to a member named Betty J. I phoned them. The name is OPTUMRx 1-866-208-7707. They had no problem with my request; however they stated that AFTER June 1st they will no longer take requests for testing supplies. The reason is related to the "July 1st" date. According to the person I spoke to the date has to do with "Competitive Bidding". Anyway...OPTUMRx will continue to provide the insulin for the pump.

Thanks for the kind welcome from all the folks. I Just found the site yesterday when I was looking for Medicare Part B provider for the Novolog I use in my pump. Hurray!!! Thanks to Bettty J I was able to connect with OptumRx at 1-866-208-7707. It was no problem for OptumRx however they did state that after July 1st they would no longer be furnishing diabetic supplies. Does anyone know what's happening July 1st? I've seen it mentioned several times but don't know what it's about.
