Hello! How Do You Do, and....HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Sarah..... Best Wishes NOW....and on the next 364 days!
How's it all going? Do you have any questions or comments?
You haven't been on in a while and I wondered if you were ok.
Hello! How's it going Sarah....any questions/suggestions?
I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so here is a helpful link where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.
Hey your right an automatic thumb would work wonders if I could use it to kill my other half right now!!!!!! I had typed a long letter to Joe from NJ and he managed to erase it ALL! I WILL KILL HIM! THIS ONE FINGER THINGY AIN"T WORKING FOR ME RIGHT NOW!!!! HA!!!!
Woo is pretty good. Not the best bedside manner but I like him a lot more then I like the Endo's in the Endo group at Jackson. I started with Grenfell here and disliked him, the practice, and their phone service. Also when you go to that group they make you take your shirt and bra off and just sit there with a large napkin. I felt a bit like I was giving a free peep show. Woo has never made me feel uncomfortable so overall I like him.
I go to Jackson about once a month. I feel like most of the time I am there to go to my Endo. We should meet sometime. Since college I haven't really spoken to anyone with type 1 outside of this website. BTW who do you see for an Endo? I go to Woo.
I'm doing alright right now. I had trigger thumb surgery this morning, so I'm still a little groggie with a stupid headache but will talk a little longer tomorrow.
Things are pretty good up here in TN. It's been blazing hot for the past week, but I think we will live. :)
I think that dLife is a good resource, but I often find that I can come here to TuDiabetes and pick up right where I left off, even if it's been a week or two. That's the nice part about it, and what I found slightly different from dLife.
I'm glad you are enjoying the site. Stay in touch and keep active!
Welcome to the site! I found TuDiabetes and the rest of the on line community through dLife, though I rarely visit that site myself.
I hope you find the support and encouragement here that I have found. It's nice to find others that are like you. :)
