Great video from Health.com! A must-see for everyone who joins the community, specially if you have type 2.
-----
Diabetes affects almost every part of your body, so having a team of specialists is the best way to prevent diabetes-related damage. Your team may include your primary care physician or internist; an endocrinologist; a diabetes educator; and a dietician. You'll need regular visits with dentists and other specialists to check on your teeth, eyes, feet, heart, kidneys and vision. And you may need to rely on family members and support groups for emotional support. Sean, age 34, considers himself the quarterback of his team; his wife and mother are important members too.
