Promising paths in current diabetes research

While in Miami recently, we visited the Diabetes Research Institute and interviewed Luca Inverardi, Director of Immunobiology of Islet Transplantation and Associate Director of the Cell Transplant Center at the Diabetes Research Institute, and a Research Professor of Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

We asked him about the most promising paths currently being pursued in the research @ DRI towards finding a cure for diabetes and more.
