I was really inspired by this woman's courage.  The things that are socially accepted as reasons to publicly ridicule people change from time to time, and right now in the US (and probably other countries as well) many people think it's okay to ridicule people based on their size.  Weight is a significant issue for MANY people with diabetes (ALL types), and I think if we all spoke up when we heard weight-related ridicule, whether it's directed at us or at someone else, we could go a long way to changing the social acceptability of it.
