Doug visits parents and campers at Camp UTADA, a diabetic camp in Utah. Doug has type 1 diabetes and is running across the United States from San Francisco to New York City. He's the first insulin-dependent diabetic to do this. Along the way, he's connecting with diabetic communities and sharing his story. He is daily inspiring diabetics and their families to take ownership over their diabetic conditions. His message is simple: manage your diabetes and you can live a long, healthy, productive life.
