TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

I decided to upload this video to TuDiabetes to give you guys a brief idea of what I plan to bring to the table for the 'Make Sense of Diabetes' Video Contest. What I'm planning for the contest will not be anything like this, but I'm planning something sweet (no pun intended). This video was more of a proof of concept for me, to see if it could be done. This video along with all my other ramblings can be found at my blog, http://tobesugarfree.com

I think you proved the concept! Great. What did you use?

Well I typically use sports as my "escape" however this is also somewhat tricky because sports lower my sugars so I definately have to be aware. My passion is Golf... On a dayoff I can spend the whole day on the course. I'm a member at the club so I'm aloud to be on the course whenever and alot of times you'll find me on the 9th hole at about 50 yards with a bucket of balls hitting pitch shots at the green in the dark. Some people find golf frustrating but it is so calming for me. In the winter I enjoy going to the outdoor rink and just skating around, shooting a few pucks. I enjoy doing this when there are no other people around so i can just disappear in my own thoughts. I definately feel your frustration with the not being able to just completely get lost in your vids or my sports or whatever your escape may be, but I'm definately glad that I have golf and hockey because they help me keep my sanity.
