This video talks about the importance of frequent testing, testing for ketones and drinking plenty of fluids/reducing carb intake while sick with a cold or the flu, when you have diabetes.

If none of this works and you still see high blood sugars or ketones in your urine, contact your doctor right away!

thank you sooo much! I feel the first signs of *smething* comming on- and this is the first time I've been sick since dx...I was really starting to freak out a bit until I found your post. Now I have a plan- and can rest a little easier. Thank You!
