Life For a Child: No Child Should Die of Diabetes

The International Diabetes Federation's Life for a Child Program supports the care of close to 1000 children in over 17 countries worldwide.

The program meets the children's immediate needs (insulin, syringes, monitoring and education), builds local capacity and lobbies governments to establish sustainable solutions.

Manny...it is wonderful. As a type 1 child in the 1960's my parents had no support $$ wise or in groups. Thanks for the introduction.

Thank you Manny for the support of the Life for a Child Program. Type 1 diabetes in developing countries in many cases is a death sentence unless we can get in the insulin and other supplies these children need to survive. We hope to expand the program and help more children with your contribution. I would encourage everyone to see the trailer for the Life for a Child film -

Give life to a child!
