What happens when a non-D eats too many Oreos. The number would be much more impressive(also stupid) if a type 1 didn't this and didn't bolus.

Gosh, I wish I had a blood sugar of 124(?) after eating something like that! 124 is a good number to be at even for me before eating. Of course, it WOULD be interesting to see what happened a few hours down the line.

Just take care of yourself so you don't really NEED to be testing all the time!

Also, while you're at it, figure the carbs for what you're eating. I can see it isn't so big its unmanageable! We could have a game guessing the carbs for what you've put together. Fat, too? Maybe we'd better have a test at 4 and 5 hours, too! Overnight! When does the blood glucose finally return to 84?

Let's see what it is at 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours! A project for you!

There's another similar video done as a school project by engineering students at UBC ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5o8mNLIqikw. I'll post it above if I can figure out how.

oh to have a working pancreas! I'd love a spike that small after eating something like that!
Something like this would be cool with 2 or 3 people doing it, and testing 3 or 4 times afterwards. Lots of people are curious about non-Ds reactions to food (me included!)

THIS IS SOOOOOOOO BRILLIANT!! Documentary of the **diabetes epidemic** at it's best. Anybody else this think that this is a YouTube Big Pharma might wish nobody else could see? Major carb load-- quick rise in sugar (where the hell else would it go?) CAUGHT ON TAPE! just think if this guy was in his doctor's office (instead of diligently working on company time ;) he'd be diagnosed as *pre-diabetic* if the sugar continues to rise (another 20 mg/dL) in the next 2 hours. Good thing he's at work - and not at the doctor! lol
