Last year, November 2010, I had just arrived here in the USA and I was doing a volunteer internship at Diabetes Hands Foundation, it was when, one day, Manny asked me... "Would you like to make a speech for the World Diabetes Day?" I thought "Why not?" It was a joy to be able to share my feelings around diabetes with people who really understand! I will always keep this moment with me. Now I am glad to share it with you, thanks for watching!

Comment by Emily Coles on August 17, 2011 at 9:30am Wow, Fabi. Thanks so much for sharing this video. I had not seen it before, and it's really wonderful. You're a great public speaker!! And so brave to give a speech in English :)
The song at the beginning of the video is one of the songs I used to listen to when I was sad about my health :)
I hope you're feeling better this week, and that your blood sugar is improving.
Con un abrazote,
Emily
