Afrezza definitely sound the easiest for me, although I'm sure I'll adjust to whatever circumstances I find myself in. My need for insulin is so marginal at the moment (really just need bolus insulin to cover protein and carb spikes) that I think Afrezza would be sufficient. However, I have no idea what an endo will say. Pen needles do seem an easier ask.
Even though the fear is genuine, if incredibly and ridiculously irrational, I'm not concerned overall. Twenty years ago I had a deep-seated fear of going back to university: I was a verifiable failure who was pretty sure I'd burned out whatever brain cells I had in the first place. I went back to school anyways and was (mostly) able to get over it. I'm sure I can do the same with needles. Just gives me the shakes is all
