I so avoid coleslaw everywhere. Usually it is packed with sugar and fat and can cause problems.
Sometmes,fast food is what it is. You have go with the flow (travel, etc) and learn to deal with it. On work road trips, real food is not readily available, espescially with per diem, etc. You just cannot eat in top rung places where the food is cleaner and more real. And a can of tuna and crackers after a hard day is misery. Learning where and what to eat is the diabetic traveler's dilema.
So, sometimes a double cheesebirger and diet coke is a godsend.
