I have a question today for all those Yoga-lovers out there..
Well, I am one of them, and I try to have a Yoga routine as many mornings as possible (round 40 mins).
I do this before I have any food, since doing Yoga shouldnt be done on a full tummy.
I do realize its not cardio training or anything, but it still can be quite intense an exercise..
Here s the weird thing: When I measure afterwards, I often have HIGHER BG than before. Sometimes it goes up by 20-30 points, What is up with that?? Any other physical training (running, walking, swimming) has the exact opposite effect.
Could it be that the liver-dump thing is happening because Im exercising on an empty stomach? But would that make sense even if my BG is around 100-110 when I start the yoga? I thought the liver starts dumping glucose when it detects the blood
sugar is dropping low, or is that a wrong presumption?
ps: Im currently honeymooning and not on any basal yet.
