I am seeing a TV ad that is made to look like the release of a trial drug for diabetes, but it is only a concoction of familiar stuff that doesn't manage glucose, like bitter melon, cinnamon and every other goop you can find at the health-food stores. Diabetics are going to be targeted for worthless concoctions. I fell for the old cinnamon lure. Look at it this way: If there were anything that we could purchase off the shelf that would help control glucose levels, we would all have known about it long ago, Go to a health-food store, and it will probably have a special section for diabetics. Don't waste your money.

Upsets me, too. There will always be snake oil salespeople to exploit any situation.

Equally annoying is expensive, chemical laden junk food being marketed as diabetic friendly/healthy with seals of approval from D organizations. Save your money there also.
